Contiguous Major Thirds Accuracy?

Thank you all for the replies.

It seems the consensus is that an initial set of CM3s is not "set in stone"
and how accurately they are usually tuned is not known.

I especially appreciate the comment about the difference in octave tests
showing the amount of iH.

One tip I do have for tuning a ladder of CM3s, perhaps known to the posters
but not to some readers, is to tune 4ths (I prefer temporarily tuned just
4ths) above and below A3. The resulting chromatic M6s with F3 and C#4 can
help assure that the notes are evenly spaced.
