I have some questions about water and pianos. A Yamaha C6 had about one inch of water on the soundboard, bridges plate etc. The piano will need a new pinblock, strings and action work. The case is fine as well as the inner rim but there is some discoloration on the bridges. The soundboard so far looks alright. How much water can a piano take? What things should I be looking for? At what point would you write a water damaged piano off?
