Denatured alcohol. Apply sparingly to a rag and wipe it on the area. Lightly lift the cloth and continue to 'rub', more like close fanning. Too much pressure or alcohol and you risk removing finish. The alcohol softens the finish and as it evaporates it pulls the water out. -- Regards, Jon Page
