Rick, I used one for a while and loved it. I don't use it as much anymore though. I never used it to restring a complete piano though others have. Some fellows drive in all the tuning pins and use the Insta-coiler after. It seems a little time consuming to me but... I use the old tuning pin and coil block technique and that seems to work fine. Some folks like to forgo the block and just hold the pin up in the air and wind the coil on, that's fine for them but not for me. Its to much stress on my hand and would leave me with aching paws and unable to play the guitar for a week or so. Using the coil block is easy enough. I wind on 2.5 turns or so, drive the pin in and move on. After the piano is up to pitch you will have your 3 turns. I find this to be a good and quick way for me, the key word is me...
