Rick,
If it is two polyester surfaces, then just insulate them from each other by
any practical means. Felt, leather, cardboard or even grease will work.
 
Try putting - lyre squeak polyester site:ptg.org - into the google search
box, but don't click the article name, instead click on 'Cached' at the end
of each listing. Google still has a copy of a lot of the archives.

List, I've read posts regarding this problem, but can't get access to
archives to look up remedy.
 
I think it had something with the poly finish rubbing against each other.
Was drilling very small holes and applying ca glue involved in some way?
