This is the service manual for the CP 80. For some reason, I can't seem to get the site for the CP 70.
Anyway, if you follow through the pages you will find the stretch numbers, that can be used with an ETD.
It also tells how to open it for servicing.

  Hello Paul,
you should have no trouble tuning one of these. I have tuned alot of these as well as the cp-80. They tune like any other piano--but quicker because there are only singles and bichords.

    Hello all,

I've been away from this list for a while, so please forgive me if this topic has come up recently.

I've been asked to tune a Yamaha CP70 for an upcoming concert. I have never worked on one of these, but I think I remember seeing one in the late 1980s, right around the time I was getting started as a piano technician. Is this one of those portable instruments containing electronics in the bottom half, but with a real piano action, plate, and strings in the top half? I know nothing about electronics, but assuming it is in good working order, is there anything special I need to know to tune this thing? I imagine it has fewer strings than a standard piano -- correct?

    Thanks,
    Paul Mulik
