Okay, here's how it works:

Uprights are FEMALE
1. They are tall and slender.
2. They look good up against a wall.
3. They often have a light above them.
4. They are soft spoken, sometimes even mute.
5. They don't repeat as much.
6. They will never let you forget that just because they are smaller they
are STILL a piano.
7. They are more likely to be seen with curvey legs.
8. They require more physical support so that they don't sag.
9. They typically have a lighter touch.
10. They keep their "parts" hidden inside.

Grands are MALE

1. They have big bellies.
2. They like to be the center of attention in a room.
3. They are louder.
4. They like to be on a stage in lights.
5. They like to be told how wonderful they are.
6. They believe size makes a difference.
7. It takes more effort to get them to move.
8. They are much more likely to have expensive electronic toys installed.
9. They have middle pedals that serve a purpose but nobody cares.
10. They are more likely to be seen in bars and night clubs.

Any questions?
