I believe the measure of a man, scratch that, measure of a person is the ability to own up to their mistakes and admit them. Yesterday I commented about something, in a poor attempt at humor, introducing politics to the list, my first mistake and by inference denigrated the political beliefs of many of you, my second mistake. For both of these mistakes I humbly apologise. I have been taken to task, mostly off list by some friends who, in a gentle way, pointed out the error of my ways, I thank them. I was also soundly castigated by one gentleman who has appointed himself the guardian of the list, guarding it from me and almost anything I have to say. Perhaps he's right. I shall be much more careful in the future. I again truly apologise and make no excuse, just bad judgement.
