Sometimes it is just best to wash your hands of the whole thing recommending an enemy as someone here once suggested. It sounds like no matter what you do, he won't be happy regardless. Far too many clients compare what they have to another piano that is nothing like theirs wanting the exact same sound, touch and all that not realizing how individualized pianos are. I have washed my hands of situations like this many times in the past only to hear back years later that they had gone through many other techs with the same results.
