[pianotech] Restoring Crown to Undamaged Soundboard

As Del said, it is not possible to restore the crown on a soundboard. But are you sure the crown is gone? There are several measurements that will indicate that there is no crown, but the most compelling is the sound of the piano. But that also doesn't necessarily indicate lost crown. In other words,?can you tell us what the problems are with the piano?
