Interesting video. What makes the hammer lift up after checking?

I uploaded a little video clip to youtube showing how the repetition works. I have also realized that the action needs no perceptible lost motion to function well. Sorry the quality isn't better.

I discovered I could eliminate the noise of the spring by needling the escaine (it seems like escaine) with a chopstick voicing tool. It can conveniently be done without removing the action.
