I was told by Frank Hanson, a Boston-area old timer, that the Steinert grands were just like the Steinway grands, and the corresponding model names were: Steinway A - Steinert D Steinway B - Steinert E Steinway C - no equivalent Steinway D - Steinert T Steinway S - Steinert A Steinway M - Steinert B Steinway O - Steinert C I've only seen the Steinert B, so I can only pass on what I was told. One other tidbit - the Steinert A was introduced 11 years before the Steinway S. Make of that what you will.
