Jack

Do yourself, and every other tuner who's worked on these Everetts, a favor,?and just put ordinary hinges on the lid, like you find a Baldwin Hamilton.

Subject: [pianotech] Everett lid hinges

I am rebuilding a 1962 Everett studio, that had those lid hinges that bolt onto the back of the piano with a single allen bolt. Unfortunately, the lid, and therefor the hinges were missing. I have been able to make a new lid easily, but now I need a source for a pair of those hinges. Barring that, I could at least use a good photo of one of them.?
