Unless there is an allen screw inside that hole, it looks like the only way to get the dampers off is to cut the felt off the block. You might need to remove the?damper lever to do that.

Does anyone have a clue as how to remove and?re-install?these type of damper heads from damper wires??? I have found these on Yamaha "grays". I have never had the need to do any work
other than a little wire or spoon bending but..... ya never know ???? Tom Cobble? RPT? Melbourne, Florida
