Contrary to what my esteemed curmudgeons have to say, that is a great piano
and is deserving of rebuild. Will it sound and play better than a new
piano, of similar quaity? Your damned right ti will! Mainly because there
isn't a piano being built today of that quality of materials and
workmanship, IMNSHO!! Can they get out what they put into it? NO! But, why
would that even enter the picture? Most who have these great olde pianos
broght back to life, will keep them for life and love them every day! AND,
it doesn't need to be redesigned David! Just tweaked a bit.
As for the other grand curmudgeon's comment of "Sheepdip"! I agree
wholeheartedly! You go dude!<G>
