If there is just one or two, I use an umbrella wire, then some teflon powder.

  Subject: [pianotech] Hanging dampers

Lately I have had a lot of hanging damper complaints. (Northeast Humidity) Any tips on a quicker fix than pulling the action, removing the damper and easing the hole? A couple drops of pro lube has worked on some cases, but I am concerned about how long that fix will last.

  Thanks,
  Marty
