Mineral oil and naphtha works good too. same ratio.

I say: ABSOLUTELY NOT! Mineral Oil will really gum up the works! DAMHIK. It'll be fine for a short time and then it gets gummy. Please don't use it. The only way to get it out of the action centers is to use Perk, (a SERIOUS cleaning fluid, which you have to have special government permits for) and it has to be used with heat..I use good ole Sunshine. Several dousings and lots of working the flanges!
It might do to try some cleaning fluid on the sluggish parts FIRST, just to be certain there isn't a contaminant in the flanges. <G>
