Don't know. I don't measure water. I just splash around until I like the look of it. The 192g will get thinner without losing it's initial tack and gel than will 251g though. > Given a similar working viscosity, same temp, 192 will gel quicker than > 251 because it has less water to lose? The stuff doesn't gel by losing water. It gels by cooling and protein linking. Too much water kills the gel. So at matching viscosities, the 192g can be made thinner and still function than can the 251g. The 251g, mixed thick enough to gel quickly, works very well for hanging hammers, where the 192g gels a bit slower and is more likely to sag some. > In well fit joint, given similar working viscosity 192 leave more cured > glue in the joint than 251, since less of it is water? I have no idea. > What about bushings? I like the 192g better. It can be mixed fairly thick, for minimal penetration into the cloth, and still be manageable and controllable with a small brush. Either of these gram weights will work for any of the jobs you'd use hot hide on, you just have to adjust the mix and approach to accommodate. At least I do. Ron N
