Thanks Tom. Is that the secret code for PTBiz?

To those possessing some knowledge of current PTBiz status: What is the latest? My PC computer is old and my browser imploded - apparently so much is screwed up with it that nothing short of a complete operating system re-install will correct the problem - so, I'll probably just get a new computer - probably a Mac Mini.

So, I either need to re-install PTBiz, or switch to a new database. I know much of this has been addressed on Pianotech - but like I say, I can't search archives because my web browser is DOA. I thought I remembered talk of the PTBiz author recently offering a copy of the program that doesn't require the access code to install it. I like PTBiz - it does what I need it to do - I'd just as soon keep using it if there isn't any pressing reason to switch to something else. Does anyone know what the current state of PTBiz is? Anyone have a contact for the author?

I suspect this next question is nothing but a big can of worms, but: IS there another scheduling/database program that is EASY to use (read: I don't like messing with computers!!!!!) and meets the needs of a piano tech (including finances)?

Has anyone figured out a way to migrate PTBiz data to another easy to use current program?

I just want the darn thing to work..... Thanks!
