I have had that call too.
It seems to me it was a copy cat of something on the internet.
Can't remember the specifics.

Like most of us, I've had many unusual, strange, and interesting inquiries through the years. Just when I thought I had heard them all,,,,,,,
Last week I answer the phone and am greeted with a frantic man on the line. Through his horrible cell phone connection, I can make out the faint somewhat muted sounds of a dog whining in the background. Immediately, the man begins to yell into the phone, "MY DOG GOT INTO MY PIANO AND IS STUCK IN THE STRINGS. MY WIFE IS FREAKING OUT, WHAT DO I DO, WHAT DO I DO?!?!"

The call came in on the caller ID as "private caller", so, of course, I'm thinking this is a prank from the likes of Nossaman or Gravagne. When I attempted to ask if the piano was an upright or grand, he replied, "MY F#*$!%# DOG IS STUCK IN THE PIANO!!".

In the midst of his cell phone breaking up, I calmly inserted, "Well, why don't you pull him out?" . At which point we lost the connection. Who knows, maybe the dog saw the You-tube of the cat playing the piano and decided to one-up it by performing a little Cage or Nikoladze.
