Hi group, I was called to look at a 1928 5'4" Chickering baby grand player piano yesterday. Beautiful case. Soundboard looks good. Will need new keytops and new strings and refurbishment of the player system. Didn't pull the action (was afraid to break something). I don't know enough about these pianos (i.e. NOTHING!) to give the owners good advice. Looking for someone in South Carolina or Georgia who works on these and also looking for ballpark values before and after refurbishment.
