when?I was in St. Louis I sent out postcard every month to those customers who had their piano tuned 6 months ago, 1 year ago, and?2, 3, and 4 years ago. I would generally get about?25%?of my 6 month and 1 years customers to call me within a couple of days after getting?the post card, and another 20 - 25% would call me in the next couple of months.?About a 10%?of the 2, 3, and 4 year customers would call me. The secret to getting them to call is to?do it consistently.?I used to cold call them, and?I called?them after?I sent a post card. I discovered that the customers who scheduled?an appointment when I called them, were just about the same ones who would have called with just a post card reminder.? I am not getting the same response here, but then about half of my customers are?pre-scheduled. Of those that are not pre-scheduled, I only get about 5% of them to call me.??
