[pianotech] WNG action parts

Hi Fenton,

I had the opportunity to beta test the whole WNG set-up. I have a Mason A with these parts that also happens to be my first RC&S that Ron N. designed for my learning pleasure. I'm happy with the piano all around. My only regret is not installing the beer cooler behind the cut-off bar as Ron suggested. Then again, the piano is going to a convent so perhaps a decanter would have been more appropriate.

I wrote up a detailed review for the journal but feel free to ask me anything specific in the meantime on or off list.

Cheers,

  List,
I'm rebuilding a A. B. Chase 5' 8" and I'm considering trying the new WNG action parts. The cost seems reasonable and I would like to learn more about this new entry in the action game from Piano Disc/ M&H. The piano is a well made instrument with an original WNG action.
Anyone with experience with these parts who would care to comment on list or off would be greatly appreciated.
Anything off list will be held in confidence, I am excited about this new product and enjoy seeing this company invest in our rebuilding industry.
I am especially interested in how to control friction abnormalities in the centers and the quality of the same.
  Fenton
