Wow, sorry, I didn't mean to sound snotty!

The exclamation mark after "guidlines" was meant to make it sound
friendly, upbeat, surprised.  I didn't write carefully enough, it seems!

I have stated no governmental guidelines!

The government does not regulate piano tuning in the UK.

The rules I pasted are those of the Pianoforte Tuners Association, the
British equivalent of the PTG.

The view is taken that if you do not do it fulltime, you are not able to
do it adequately.
