David, This is one thing that Vince Mrykalo and I have both been doing for about 3 months now and it REALLY works well. Proceed slowly. Clearly it doesn't do much for worn centres! What a very interesting suggested, though, about trying it in compacted hammer grooves for voicing. I've been using a hypo-oiler recently to apply Protek CLP to string underfelt on some older grands, and I find that quickly running my fine hypo-oiler along each string leaves a very fine line of CLP which quickly wicks in under the string. I imagine that it might work similarly if carefully applied to hammer grooves with VS Profelt. I'll have to get some VS Profelt to try it out! Thanks again, David.
