[pianotech] Music Desk Material

I’ve contacted Young Chang 3 times about this and 2 of the times, they have sent me replacement material free of charge.  I sent them the model and serial number of the piano.  The last time I sent an inquiry (about 3 – 4 weeks ago), I have not heard back from them.

 On Young Changs, to be specific.  Has anyone come up with a good replacement for the long narrow strip of (cloth, felt, suede, leather?) material used on their music desks that ends up crumbling and/or fading?
