The absolute numbers aren't a big deal, but the way they connect transitions is different. For instance, Conklin's characteristic impedance formula shows wrapped string unisons as significantly louder than plain string unisons when your ear says they aren't. You need something that graphs pretty close to what you hear. Ron N
