You use a wedge for every one? Not me. I mute strip it. Faster.

When I Have finished tuning a pin I firstly put the hammer on the next pin,

change the paps wedge position, strike the note and by the time my hand
moves from the wedge to the hammer CyberTuner has read the note and displays

the over pull needed. So I cannot see where it is slow. David, have you kept

up with the upgrades? (latest version 4.3.5f1) and also a older machine
might be the cause of slow reading.

If RCT is that slow in picking up/displaying the pitch, maybe it isn't
perfected...? For me an ETD is vitally important for quickly checking
aural problems as I progress through the tuning. i.e. what has changed to
make that octave suspect. It might a prior unison that needs
tweaking...unisons as you go!
