The first thing I would do is consult Fessenden's book. I believe it gives some specs on the distance of the Hammer Butt Center Pin in relation to the distance from the String Plane. I don't know of any good way to measure this, but that distance is critical. I have a few ideas of a jig to measure that. The big problem is,...is there any dimension perameters in regards to this?? I don't recall seeing/hearing of such. I suspect someone like Don Mannino would know that distance, in relation to all of the Kawais. However, I suspect that differs with each type of vertical piano. Del? Do you have any ideas on this? Perhaps your Bro.???<G>
Regards,
Joe
