[pianotech] Overdamper

Hi Mathew,

It's a bit like saying can a under damper be bought up to pitch? All pianos
being either under or overdamper have or have not structural features that
say yes or no to a pitch raise. Some Over dampers have better pin blocks
than underdampers. (not many) It depends on how flat it is and how tight
the pins are.

Best of luck

Robin

Subject: [pianotech] Overdamper

Hi all,

I will be servicing an Ibach overdamper soon. Can these pianos be brought
up to A-440? I am expecting two to three notes flat or more when I arrive.

Thank you,

Matthew
