I haven't lowered my rates but I haven't increased them either although I'm thinking about it. The recession hasn't hit this area as hard as much of the country. Our major manufacturing left long ago leaving the 2 hospitals/clinics as the major employers in the region. Agriculture and the support of it rounds out our employment along with what's left of Trane company which used to be the largest employer, LaCrosse is where Reuben Trane began the company.
