Last week I removed about an octave of those adhesive note labels from some plastic keys. There was also one piece of scotch tape. Since I wasn't charging to do it, I asked my client if she had some Goo Gone. She thought she had some, but I suggested using whatever vegetable oil she had on hand for cooking. I used Wesson and it worked just fine. A paper towel and not too much elbow grease did the job. It took about five minutes. I have a 2 oz bottle of Goo Gone in my car, but it would have taken more than five minutes to go out, find it and bring it in.
