Rick Verdigris is not like silicone, in that it will not spread to other action parts. Verdigris is a reaction between the pin and the bushing. (Several different versions of what the reaction is have been posted recently on this list). If the new wippen doesn't have what ever causes the verdigris, it can't "catch it" from one that does. So far, not present in all. If new whips were installed on a dozen or so, would verdigris spread to them eventually as well?
