Get a 2 cm thick?piece of plywood that's slightly wider but just as long as the base of the piano, and put the piano on that.

Subject: [pianotech] Piano on Soft Carpet

Hi List

?

I delivered a (1985) 109 cm 85 note upright piano to a customer.

This model piano does not come with castors.

We put it in place on new carpet.

The customer was concerned it may fall over as it rocked a little on the carpet.

It is not sitting as stable on carpet as it would on a concrete or wooden floor.

Are there any solutions to this problem

?

Robert?
