Removing it isn't any different than removing any other action. Replace the bridle straps. If they don't want to spend the money for the bridle strap job, you can still put the action back in. Just don't put it all the way to the posts. Then. with the action still slightly tilted back, trip each jack under the respective butt. Screw to the posts. It still isn't magic.
