[pianotech] Steinway verdigris questions

Julia,

I've heard a lot of different explanations about what it is, but most 
involve a factory-applied lubricant and subsequent chemical or 
biological degradation of said lubricant.  The only complete and 
long-term cure is replacement of the affected parts.
