Thanks, Jon. I have often wondered if replacing talc with teflon powder would be  a good/better alternative.

An alternative to VJ LUbe, if lanolin is scarce; is to warm
a container of petroleum jelly in the microwave. Nuke it
in 20 to 30 second bursts and mix in Teflon powder as
the consistency allows until you get the desired texture.
