Would tapping with a hammer help increase the effect.
If a little tapping helps, possibly increasing the strength of the tap. Isn't more supposed to be better.

Quite interesting.
I have tinnitus, but luckily, I am able to block it out mentally, so it doesn't bother my sleeping.
It appears to be around A5, as I notice an effect in my hearing around there.
I think it was caused by my days in the Navy. Just through the bulkhead from where I slept were 2 Pratt-Whitney Turbo engines, which were used for propulsion.

I have been working on a treatment that might aleviate tinitus, (one n), but it is has not yet completely eliminated it. It's called Emotional Freedom Technique. or EFT for short. It involves tapping on parts of your head hands and body for a short period of time. On a number of occasions the tinitus stopped for a day or two after I've "tapped", but then came back. I'm trying to figure out how much I have to do for it to last longer than a couple of days. Perhaps it's something I'll have to do every day for the rest of my life. But it's free, and only takes a couple of minutes before I go to sleep.
