On another note, have any of you had a school misplace a piano? lol One of the elementry schools where I tune is convinced that they only have 3 pianos. One of the music teachers e-mailed me, I spoke with someone in the office, adn a costodian told me that there are only 3. My list says there are 4. Sometimes they don't understand that you need it quiet. So tell her you need to concentrate on listing to the piano, and with her talking to you, you not only can't concentrate on what she is telling you, you can't hear the piano. On top of that, tell her that people talking in the vicinity of where you're working interferes with your ability to hear the piano. You can't stop her from being rude to her husband, but hopefully she'll lay off him long enough for you to get out of there. When I ordered a "keytop" from Steinway, they sent me a plastic sheet about a foot square, and I was supposed to cut my own. I suggest you use a keytop you get from one of the supply houses. Chances are, it will look just like the others. If anything, you might have to trim it a little, but no more than if you had an "original" part.
