David:

That's certainly my choice for dampers. I know I'm not a traditionalist but it does work well.

Subject: [pianotech] PVC-E for damper felts?

I recently obtained some PVC-E, following discussion of it in this lst
some weeks ago.

I'll shortly be replacing the damper felts on an old Bechstein grand,
and am contemplating trying the PVC-E for the job.

What do you think folks?

Best regards,

David Boyce.
