I don't know, a dozen or so of these. It's what I see in the pianos I tune locally, and what techs I've done pianos for tell me elsewhere. I was simply trying to enforce the fact of movement in the entire piano. When lamination enters the picture it changes the way wood reacts, IMO. This, from a background of boat building.
