I need to order some bass string replacements for a 1990 Baldwin. I get that date from Pierce - but as we know, Baldwin/Acrosonic serial numbers can be confusing. I would have guessed the piano was a bit older, but maybe not. I looked all over the piano for a model number and found none. I didn't have a tape measure or micrometer with me. I'm hoping if I can figure out the model number, I can get strings from Schaff or somewhere (they might have scale data). This Baldwin spinet is one of a zillion made. It does not say Acrosonic on it. It is a very plain case, it does not have a separate drop sticker rail (is that what you call the older ones with the little levers resting on the key capstans - you know, old Acrosonics and Wurlys). This is by far the most popular (only?) spinet made by Baldwin during the 80s and 90s - you've all seen a million of 'em. Anyone know the model designation? Sorry for the lack of any more description. Terry Farrell
