The problem is the friction on the understring felt. Relieving that with applications of Protek, brass inserts, weasel grease, heat shrink tubing, or fairy dust, would make the problem go away. Alternately, it could be fixed for real by eliminating the problem altogether rather than dodging it. Ron N
