And someone else had or suggested using a Fein Multimaster (or a knock off) to cut the action brackets.

There is a lot of info from list postings and I'm sure the responses will be forthcoming. I'll start you off with removal of an action that has the drop screws wedged into pinblock and stuck. 
I had one some years ago and someone advised on list to break the existing brackets with a cold chisel and hammer. I did so and as you might imagine the hammer rail dropped enough to slide the action out.

I would appreciate hearing from someone with a good bit of experience with YC bracket replacement. I did ONE several years ago, with only modest success. It’s been a very long time since I have seen this piano, and am not even sure the action will come out. I’m in need of sage advice.
