I have had success super gluing the felt, using needle nose vice grips to hold the felt in place.

Hello list,
I am currently repairing a bentley upright about 40yrs old and the hammer head felts on the bottom 15 hammers have started to come loose, some have come off completely.  There are no rivets in the felt they have just been glued on.
 
My question is what is the best method to glue/clamp them back on.
