  They use European #14 wire, which is .825mm diameter, and the American size (e.g. Mapes) is .838mm or .033". Either will work.

  I removed a broken wire from a Petrof vertical. It was stamped #14 wire on the bridge, but I didn't check the wire with a micrometer and I misplaced the wire. Dose anyone know what wire gauge sizes they use? US? Metric?
