I have been watching this thread of comments and yes, I have had on occasion, calls on the notes not damping in the treble and especially the first treble note after the dampers stop. It even becomes more prominent, as someone has already commented, after tuning and all the strings are able to vibrate to the overtones of tenor strings being played. Yamaha helped that not be a problem by cutting the last damper so it only damps two of the three strings. Another comment I have had is that after tuning the piano is "louder". I explain that before tuning, all of the strings are playing at different frequencies, so do not re-enforce the primary frequency of the primary note. With all unisons resounding to the same frequency, they sound louder, just like in the orchestra when you have more violins/violas playing the same notes.
