Thanks for your reply. Have the book Notes from a Piano Tuner and the author mentions finding all kinds of stuff in old pianos including rodents...shed snake skins and the like. Think she lives in the Ozarks...in the mountains for sure. I asked the client how much she wanted to invest in the piano and she said no more...just tune it...they'd get the rest out on their own...and at their own risk. I normally don't charge for an initial evaluation but since it turned into 2 hours I charged her accordingly...but did give her a little discount as a matter of goodwill.
