Fun stuff . . . I love this . . . . the last piano I dismantled for rebuild was signed by a worker on 12/24/14. Left me wondering what it was like for him working Christmas Eve back then. I also dismantled an ancient Chickering square and found a child's toy inside. It is a hand wittled action figure with pivoting arms and legs. It is a black man, dressed in a blue suit with gold buttons. His hat is missing, and that might have been a clue to who he is. There was a trade-in of two uprights. 1895 Ivers and Pond and an 1895 Burton player( Henry F. Miller) the trade-in amount was $375. $ 100 down no interest for 60 days then 6% interest per annum. > > There is a release for the uprights as well as a hand-written warranty. I like finding this stuff. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://ptg.org/pipermail/pianotech.php/attachments/20100214/9ef6f418/attachment.htm>
