I have found many of the same things in pianos over the years, including a letter opener that was red plastic in an art deco style that I used for years. Perhaps the most fun thing was because of the story behind it. It was a Christmas card with a five dollar bill inside. It turns out that it had been missing about ten years. It finally settled an argument between a brother and sister. "You stole Grandpa's Christmas money!" "Did not!" If I had just pocketed the five, it would just have opened up an old sore. I'm glad I didn't. Seeing the siblings work this out was priceless! I could tell you about things I have found in a frat house piano, but I have too much respect for the sensibilities for those who read this list.
